@fatai to respond to your previous edit, a question can be classified as "homework" even if it is "not actually your homework". It has the same properties as homework: i.e., limited relevance to others; highly specific details; etc. You need to make your questions more general, otherwise they will probably be closed. – Jeromy Anglim Jun 13 '11 at 7:22
@fatai I have edited your question and tried to highlight the general question out of your specific question; however it still might be closed on other bases (e.g., too easy, already answered, answer readily available from textbook or wikipedia) – Jeromy Anglim Jun 13 '11 at 7:24

@Jeromy Anglim, thanks. even I can't solve that question, how can you expect that I'll change those questions to make them more general ? – user4053 Jun 13 '11 at 7:27

@fatai You should explain what you have tried, and why you can't get the solution. Copy and pasting of questions from textbooks or past exams without any explanation is frowned upon. You may want to read stats.stackexchange.com/faq regarding homework style questions. You also need to think about the purpose of this site: it is run by volunteers who want to create question and answer combinations that are useful to others in general. Highly specific homework questions tend to be only useful to the person asking the question. – Jeromy Anglim Jun 13 '11 at 7:32
@fatai I've rolled back the change I made. However, you should try to show what you have tried and why you still can't get the answer. Otherwise, it will most likely be closed. – Jeromy Anglim Jun 13 '11 at 7:34
