So far, I can think of two that have sample data easily available: House price vs. square footage, acreage, number of bedrooms. Car price vs. year, mileage

Can you think of any others that are useful to illustrate the concept of multiple regression? Thanks for your time.

Given that there must be--I say this without exaggerating-- millions of examples and data sets amenable to multiple regression freely available on the Web, could you please focus this question? What problem are you trying to solve? – whuber Nov 24 '11 at 5:03
I want to demonstrate multiple regression to a friend. I am open to using any "ordinary" real world example that seems interesting. I am not familiar with getting data sets from the internet. – JackOfAll Nov 24 '11 at 5:06

This is a great time to get familiar with downloading data. How about Googling "multiple regression dataset" and following some of the links. You could spend a lifetime analyzing just the data available from the first page of hits. – whuber Nov 24 '11 at 5:11
This question is too broad and insufficiently researched to be a good fit for this site. – whuber Nov 24 '11 at 5:14

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.
