Which statistic that you can calculate on a window remains constant on a sine wave with a constant period? This is for a window function for a proprietary filter.

The solecistic phrase "sine wave with a constant period" suggests that a non-standard meaning of "sine wave" may be intended (by definition, a sine wave has a period which is a property of the wave itself and is not something that can possibly vary); this needs to be clarified. – whuber Dec 29 '11 at 15:25
