Cross Validated is a question and answer site for people interested in statistics, machine learning, data analysis, data mining, and data visualization. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Where can I find a roughly complete CDF of income in the U.S. (not simply the Gini coefficient or a point summary like "X% of the population make Y% of the income?")

Note: I think this may be off-topic here and have proposed a separate QA site for these sorts of questions, but someone else suggested that these types of questions are on-topic here.

You're right, this is off-topic. You can obtain the income data from the Census Bureau. –  whuber Jan 9 '12 at 0:12
