Nov 9, 2011 at 18:24 comment added PhD Covariance is not necessarily interchangeable with correlation - the former is very unit dependent. Correlation is a number between -1 and 1 a unit-less scalar representing the 'strength' of the covariance IMO and that's not clear from your answer
