If we conduct a case control study and plan to analyze the results with multiple linear regression, which power analysis should be conducted to select sample size? There are separate calculators for doing a case-control study, and for doing multiple linear regression.

For example, the G*Power calculator offers a linear multiple regression sample size estimate, but it doesn't take into account the proposed study is a case-control. Should we simply take the results of this calculator and then double it (ex. if it says sample size = 60 then collect 60 cases and 60 controls)?
