I know what the variance/bias trade off is when I am talking about regression problems. Also in this context i understand the technical derivation.

But I don't have an idea of the variance-bias trade off regarding classification and regressions trees. Especially the technical part not only the intuition behind it.

How I can imagine the variance-bias trade off regarding classification and regression trees?
