I am hypothesizing that there are two moderators in the relationship between IV and DV. I ran one ANCOVA with moderator A and the interaction between IV and moderator A is significant. Then I ran another ANCOVA with moderator B and the interaction between them was also significant. However, when I ran ANCOVA with both moderators at the same time, only interaction between IV and moderator A remained significant, but interaction between moderator B and IV was no longer significant. In this last ANCOVA the interaction between the two moderators was insignificant.

What does this mean?

The correlation matrix shows that the moderators correlated at p=.048 but when I ran regression the VIF = 1.015.
