I'm trying to compute a possible relation in R between 4 variables about behaviour and attitudes of kids inside home, and time that they spend playing outside (continuous). The 4 variables can be organized following a scale, so we can use them as ordinal variables. Is it possible to do a multiple correlation between the 5 variables (ordinal and continuous)? Or do I need to organize the variables in pairs and compute all correlations separately?
