I have recently upgraded by Stata to version 16, specifically because of the new Meta-analysis functionality. I have previously conducted a meta-analysis of study proportions using the 'metaprop" command by calculating logodds and selogodds prior to running the command. I would like to use the new suite of commands in Stata 16 to do this but I am not having any success as the option to use generic effect sizes is not accepting my logodds and selogodds values.

Does anyone have an idea of what I may be doing wrong here?

  • $\begingroup$ You might do better on Statalist as advice about programming is off topic here. You will also need an example of what you tried as otherwise your question is very difficult to answer. $\endgroup$ – mdewey Mar 29 at 10:44
