I am studying the effects on an intervention on one group of individuals two times, before and after intervention. I am measuring social skills using a rating scale. The rating scale has an overall score, but there are also lots of subscores that I would like to analyze. I realize that if I were just evaluating the overall scores, a dependent t-test would likely suffice. However, upon research, I'm not sure which statistics test to use with the subscales included. Would a repeated measures ANOVA be appropraite or a MANOVA? Thanks for your help!
