Let's say I have a word frequency table with rankings, which I will be using to plot a Zipf distribution:

|---------------------|------------------|------------------|
| Word | Frequency | Frequency |
|---------------------|------------------|------------------|
| the | 300 | 1 |
|---------------------|------------------|------------------|
| a | 200 | 2 |
|---------------------|------------------|------------------|
| is | 200 | 3 |
|---------------------|------------------|------------------|
| you | 195 | 4 |
|---------------------|------------------|------------------|

When words "a" and "is" have the same frequencies, are their ranks above correct, or should they have the same rank (2)?
