This is a beginner question, sorry in advance if its super simple but i am a little stuck on what to do next
I am using mean and standard deviation to analyze my data. I am working with the same population but the samples taken from the population vary depending on if the participants answered certain questions or not.
EX: 104 out of 106 answered question 1 / 60 out of 106 answered question 2
Extra info: I am looking at ordinal data, each question asks the participant to pick a number from a scale of 1-5.
I was thinking of using ANOVA, first making sure that the samples are normally distributed of course.
Is ANOVA correct to use? Anyone have any other suggestions of how I can go about this?
