I'm trying to figure out how to include subject identity (random effect) in an analysis where subjects make a choice between two concurrent options.

I found this website, which shows how to code Goodness of Fit tests as linear models:

https://lindeloev.github.io/tests-as-linear/#71_goodness_of_fit

Unfortunately, like Goodness of Fit tests, it still groups all information into a table and doesn't allow for covariates.

Is there any way to do such a test with random effects?
