Hello StackExchange community!

My study group and I (M.Sc. in psychology) are currently studying for an upcoming exam and can´t figure out the correct answer to the question below.

Its neither discussed in our courses slides nor are we able to find clear answers online. Any input would be much appreciated!

Which advantage does the calculation of a multilevel linear model have over a repeated measures ANCOVA?

a) One can control the sphericity better.

b) You can get better measures of effect size.

c) One can account for non-linear changes in repeated measures in model building.

d) One can formulate expected relationships between dependent variables in different ways.

e) One can combine random effects and fixed effects.*

Thank you for any input!
