Hi, I am a phd-student working as a business intelligence consultant and data analyst. Originally, I majored in psychology. And I still teach statistics using R and/or SPSS to psychology students. I like to see statistical models as simplified representations of the real world. Thus, I tend to describe implied assumptions and interpretation of statistical models in terms of real world problems rather than super abstract formalizations. However, I have the most respect for those who can easily understand the latter. ;)

Some of my hobbies: maintaining my commodore 64, running/jogging, reading, taking looong baths, enjoying a good meal with friends.
