Just to be 100 % sure, you say that $$f(\alpha_0 +\alpha_1 z_1 + \cdots + \alpha_d z_d)=f(\beta_0 + \beta_1 x_1 + \cdots + \beta_d x_d),$$ since unique minimum is assumed, $ \alpha_0 +\alpha_1 z_1 + \cdots + \alpha_d z_d=\beta_0 + \beta_1 x_1 + \cdots + \beta_d x_d$ and you then identify the different coefficients "term-wise" (coefficients in front of the $x_1$s must be the same, etc)? | |
