I came across this question from Stack Exchange with the [r] tag. So I already knew the code was R, and the mtcars data set is a sample data set that ships in R. I probably should have helped clarify that, but if you were to assume the question was R based, it isn't a big leap to figure out what the data are. Sorry for not clarifying.

Using am as basis for the model may not give the best model, however the question I need to answer is what impact transmission difference gives. So it needs to be there in my view. | |
