Sep 20, 2016 at 11:03 comment added Elvis At the time I answered (or I started to type my answer), the question about the difference between an algebraic variable and a random variable was appearing clearly (I did not devised it myself, but copy-pasted it!). Moreover I think the presentation of a random variable as measure on a random experiment helps to understand the distinction between $X_1 + X_2$ and $X+X$, so this is useful for the original question as well. Anyway I don’t think this is worth such a drama.

Sep 19, 2016 at 8:02 comment added user366312 @Tim, I apologize for that. I raised the issue to the answerers, but they didn't respond. So, I deleted the comments and posted another question. But, now I see this answer and I accepted it.
Sep 19, 2016 at 8:00 comment added Tim @anonymous but as it stands now, the answer is totally unrelated to your question while the two other answers give a direct answer to it.
Sep 19, 2016 at 7:54 comment added user366312 @Tim, Yes that was. But, this question was posed here first. Then, I changed it again.
