Jan 19, 2019 at 18:00 comment added gung - Reinstate Monica The use of "but" is because both the description of the preceding & following models are correct, however the following model is distinct from the nature of the former in ways that you wouldn't have expected until you grasp the distinction between prediction & inference that is being illustrated. I'm already familiar w/ the distinction, nonetheless, I find this example insightful & helpful. +1
