Timeline for Why is it that natural log changes are percentage changes? What is about logs that makes this so?

your answer is quite clear: we need small coefficients to be able to interpret the log-difference as percentage change, but @aksakal 's answer shows that we only need small changes (i.e. lim Δx --> 0 ). Can you please explain how the two are equivalent?
