The proof is that measurement error can be incorporated in kriging and it's not treated in the same way as the nugget effect. These points are emphasized by your reference (by the noted geostatistician Isobel Clark), who explicitly claims this "can have a profound effect on both the estimated resource and in our confidence on that resource," so it's hard to see why your post diverges so sharply from its conclusions. | |
