And, as mentioned before, I have seen a study that reports 4 cases per 1000 person months for the same disease. How do I compare these two different estimates of risk? How do I know if they are similar? Thank you very much.
Jul 16, 2018 at 13:02 comment added whuber The solution to questions like this is offered by dimensional analysis, which reduces it to the multiplications and divisions needed to convert months to years and thousands to hundreds of thousands.
