My random variable $X$ is normally distributed with mean $b$ and variance $p$. I defined a new RVrandom variable, $Y$, such that $Y=1/X$$Y=\frac{1}{X}$. Does anyone know how to find the mean of $Y$ and $Y^2$?
Random variables don't have inverses, but operators do. The reciprocal is understood to be the multiplicative inverse of a number. Cleaned up a fraction.
