I am a Visiting Postdoctoral Scientist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, USA; where I work at the Department of Medicine, Division of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine in Slomka Lab.

My permanent workplace is Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center in Poznan, Poland; where I am employed in the Network Services Department.

The operating systems that I use are: MacOS, Ubuntu/Xubuntu, Debian, CentOS and Archlinux.

My primary programming language is Python, as it perfectly suits my needs at research work, while additionally having a tremendous applicational potential. The secondary language that I am familiar with the most is JAVA, that I use mostly for developing web and mobile applications. I also know some JS, CSS (and Bootstrap), as well as basics of C++/C programming. Other than that I am quite fluent with R statistical computing framework, various web, networking, and DevOps technologies such as: Django, Flask, OpenStack, AWS, Jenkins, GitLab’s CI/CD, etc.

Usually I use PyCharm, IDEA and other JetBrains IDEs with a vim plugin. Recently I have been using also Visual Studio Code. In terminal I prefer vim, and oh-my-zsh is my preferred shell setup.

I hold a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, and my scientific interest are computational medicine (cardiology, neurology/neuroscience, and oncology in particular). In basic sciences I was interested mostly in the phenomena of laterialization of praxis and language skills in the human brain.
