Studying evolutionary biology with a focus in spatial genetics. My current study system is terrestrial snails that occupy the Sonoran, Chihuahuan, and Mojave deserts. These beasts are incompletely distributed among nearby habitat islands. They appear to have undergone many cycles of range retraction and expansion, and dispersal.
