Why do I get very bad fit indices for a moderation? (including a negative TLI!) / Multilevel...

Also, it should be noted that the Mplus implementation of the TLI does not truncate values to be between 0 and 1, so a negative value is possible (see this document for more information). …

Likelihood ratio tests in Growth Mixture Modelling with large sample sizes

First off, I would say you are in an enviable situation, as most applications of growth mixture models (GMMs) have sample sizes that are not ideal (e.g., see Bauer 2007 for more info). This being said …

Is Bayesian structural equation modelling better than maximum likelihood with smaller sample...

I would certainly say that a sample size of $n = 120$ is small by SEM standards, so if you are to use BSEM, make sure you are able to justify your priors, and definitely avoid using the Mplus software …

Does it make sense to do a prior sensitivity analysis if using flat priors (Mplus default)?

Finally, for more information on the use of priors in mplus, I recommend MacCallum, Edwards, & Cai (2012) and Smid & Winter (2020). References MacCallum, R. C., Edwards, M. C., & Cai, L. (2012). …

Constraining correlations between two latent variables using CFA

Yes fixing latent variable correlations is possible using R. See the code below where I do this with a simulated data set using the lavaan package's sem function. Model 1 allows correlations to be fre …
